Ian Hurley is a Boston-based photographer providing clients with portrait and editorial photography.

Ian’s project on the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Hazelwood, entitled "Grounded Optimism", was featured in a gallery exhibition at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers Melwood Gallery. The essay focused on residents of this former steel mill community who are trying to create positive change while overcoming obstacles.

His photographs have been recognized by the New England Press Association and the National Press Photographers Association.
