The grand opening of the Bowie, MD skatepark at Allen Pond Park took place to a crowd of hundreds on Friday night. Bowie resident "Fast" Rob Craft grinds at the top of the bowl. Skaters from across the region descended on the park's bowl and street course for a chance to skate, hear live music and win products from Velocity Skate Shop.
